Concord - Frank Guinta made his candidacy for New Hampshire’s First Congressional District official this morning when he filed papers with the Secretary of State’s Office at 9:30AM.
Surrounded in the overflowing office by his family, friends and supporters, Guinta was moved by the great display of support for his candidacy.
He went on to comment, “I am very thankful to the people gathered here today to support me as I formally enter the race to become the First District’s next congressman. Over the last six months, I have traveled this district and met with voters in coffee shops, in their homes and their places of business. They have been receptive of my message of lower taxes, less spending and a return to our Country’s founding principles, and they know that I alone in the Republican Primary have a conservative record of action. I am looking forward to the next fifteen weeks of what should be a spirited campaign for the right to take on Carol Shea-Porter in November.”
