Americans for Prosperity Foundation® will host its third annual RightOnline Conference this summer in Las Vegas on July 23 & 24.  The RightOnline Conference will bring together citizen activists from across the country to hear from leading free-market voices and the nation's foremost new media experts. Americans for Prosperity is once again cosponsoring this event.

Confirmed speakers include Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, Congressman Mike Pence, Wall Street Journal's John Fund and Steve Moore,'s Erick Erickson, talk radio host Herman Cain,'s Ed Morrissey, radio host Guy Benson, Fox News contributor Stephen Kruiser, and AFP Foundation's own Phil Kerpen.

As part of our efforts in Nevada, Americans for Prosperity will sponsor a citizen education program on July 24. We will head out to neighborhoods in the greater Las Vegas area to spread the word to Nevada residents about the government takeovers Harry Reid orchestrated as Senate Majority Leader.

Stop the EPA Power Grab!
The Obama Administration is still trying to sidestep Congress on the Cap-and-Trade issue.  The EPA wants to implement outrageous regulations on carbon emissions that will impact the entire economy.  Tell Congress to step in and stop this ludicrous power grab here.

The Senate is scheduled to vote on the Murkowski Resolution on June 10th.  This legislation would overturn the EPA's proposed carbon regulations.  Take action now and encourage your senators to vote for the Murkowski Resolution here.

Activist of the Month - Dan Lee






Name:  Dan Lee
Age: 71
Hometown: Chapman Lake, IN

Dan Lee is a co-founder and current Chairman of Hoosier Patriots, Inc., out of the great State of Indiana.  A lifelong conservative, Mr. Lee served in the U.S. Army Reserves for eight years, and recently retired from a successful career in journalism and consulting.  He helped found Hoosier Patriots after attending the 9/12 Rally in Washington, D.C. last year.  He says the event was extremely moving, and that his goal with Hoosier Patriots is to help people get active in the conservative movement.  Mr. Lee was of tremendous help to AFP as we traveled through Indiana on the Regulation Reality™ Tour.  He helped AFP by scouting potential locations and driving attendance to events.

A big AFP thank you and congratulations to Mr. Dan Lee of Chapman Lake, Indiana, for becoming AFP's first ever Activist of the Month!

Regulation Reality Tour Bound for Nevada
AFP's Regulation Reality Tour will be hosting events throughout the State of Nevada on June 15-17.  Under the direction of the White House, EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson is attempting to implement sweeping global warming regulations without a vote of Congress. Regulation Reality Tour- Indiana/Ohio Wrap-up
On May 10-12, hundreds of activists from both Indiana and Ohio gathered to learn more about the EPA's over-reaching regulatory efforts and to tell their senators to stop the EPA power grab.  They expressed their support for the Murkowski Resolution, which would stop the EPA's job-killing carbon emission regulations.  Read more about this issue and view pictures from these events here.

Hot Air Tour™ Lands in PA
On May 14th, AFP held Hot Air Tour events in Johnstown and Washington, Pennsylvania.  Activists came out to encourage Democratic Congressman Mark Critz to oppose the Pelosi/Obama energy taxes in the cap-and-trade bill.  Jobs are on the line and Congressman Critz refused to sign the No Climate Tax Pledge.  To learn more or to see pictures, click here.
