In “Best Candidate,” Bass Says He Offers Republicans Best Chance to Beat Democrat Nominee in November
Concord, NH- Peterborough Republican Charlie Bass today released the second in a series of videos that outline his positions on key issues and campaign developments. Bass is running for Congress in New Hampshire's 2nd District.
In “Best Candidate,” which can be viewed on Bass’ YouTube Channel and the video section of the campaign’s website, www.VoteBass.com, Bass says Republicans must, “…nominate candidates that can win in November, that can attract the support of Republicans, Independents and some Democrats.”
Bass continues, “I am the candidate that can do that. We need to get together and win this election for Republicans, for fiscal conservatives, and for the future of America.”
According to recent Federal Election Commission filings, the Bass campaign has more than $370,000 cash-on-hand. This is more than ten times the amount of one of his closest primary competitors, and more than three times the amount of another.
In addition, Bass recently became the only candidate in New Hampshire to be endorsed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. In its support for Bass, the U.S. Chamber stated:
“We’re endorsing Charlie Bass because he has a record of standing up for the people of New Hampshire in these challenging economic times,” said Bill Miller, the U.S. Chamber’s senior vice president and political director. “He is an invaluable leader who has a common sense approach to job creation and getting America back on the road to recovery.”
