Manchester, NH is hosting the 44th Annual World’s Championship Chili Cookoff
Manchester, NH –Which New Hampshire restaurant serves the best bowl of chili? New Hampshire Chili Week is set for September 4th-11th to answer this important question. New Hampshire Chili Week is a prelude to the 2010 World’s Championship Chili Cookoff (WCCC) taking place in downtown Manchester at Veterans Park from Friday, October 1st – Sunday, October 3rd.
New Hampshire Chili Week will give the public a chance to decide which restaurants will have the opportunity to cook in the 2010 WCCC and earn the prestigious title of “Best Chili in New Hampshire”. An award will be also be given for “Best Chili in Manchester” and People’s Choice. During New Hampshire Chili Week the public will be encouraged to visit as many participating restaurants as possible to sample their chili. All participating restaurants will offer a cup or bowl of chili for a discounted price. After tasting each restaurants chili, people will vote online for the restaurant they believe served the best tasting bowl of chili. The 20 restaurants who receive the most votes will have the opportunity to showcase their chili at the 2010 WCCC and have their chili judged by professional chili judges sanctioned by the International Chili Society.
Ignite Bar & Grill in Manchester and Two Friend’s Café in Goffstown are just two of the restaurants already signed up. Any restaurant that would like the opportunity to have their chili professional judged and showcased in front of tens of thousands of people are encouraged to participate.
