It was another busy week for Kelly. The campaign trail literally took her up and down the state, including stops in Hillsborough, Manchester, Bedford, Berlin, Peterborough, Jaffrey, New Castle, Windham, Claremont, New London, Newport and North Haverhill. And she won’t let up over the weekend (see below).
With 46 days to go until the primary, Team Ayotte is firing on all cylinders. Here’s some news from the campaign.
Kelly In The News
Kelly’s statewide “Stop The Spending” tour made a visit a visit to Somersworth, which was reported in Foster’s Daily Democrat on Monday.
The campaign also has been holding Paul Hodes’ feet to the fire. Hodes missed a key vote last week on unemployment benefits – failing to find a way to fully pay for them – so Team Ayotte called him out for being MIA. It was the height of hypocrisy for Hodes, who has grandstanded on this issue all year. Take a look at the front page story on the vanishing Hodes in today’s Concord Monitor.
No matter what the polls say, Kelly and her campaign will continue to work as hard as possible to win this election. But we wouldn’t be doing our job if we didn’t share the great polling news we got this week.
A Public Policy Polling survey released Wednesday shows Kelly taking 47% of the vote in September’s GOP primary. She leads her closest competitor by an astounding 33 points. And two general election polls out this week show that Kelly continues to lead Democrat Paul Hodes. For those of you who are counting, Kelly has now beaten Paul Hodes in 18 straight polls!
Senator Rudman For Ayotte
As you know, Kelly has received a string of great endorsements this month. That includes statesman and former U.S. Senator Warren Rudman.
In announcing his support for Kelly, Senator Rudman said, “Kelly Ayotte will bring New Hampshire common sense to the Senate, fighting wasteful spending and stopping business as usual in Washington. I’m honored to support Kelly and I look forward to campaigning hard for her. She’ll make our state proud.”
Kelly is deeply honored to have Senator Rudman’s support – and she looks forward to continuing his fight for fiscal discipline on Capitol Hill.

Kelly has another busy weekend of campaigning, making stops from Unity to Greenland – and points in between. She looks forward to seeing you on the trail!
