|Kelly's Campaign Bulletin
Kelly kept up her aggressive campaign schedule this week, traveling from Portsmouth, to Walpole to North Conway – and points in between! She attended three candidate forums in three nights. And on Wednesday, she picked up some very special support. Read on…
Mayor Ted Gatsas: Ayotte for Senate
Kelly got another major endorsement this week. Manchester’s Ted Gatsas – the mayor of New Hampshire’s largest city – announced his support for Kelly at a ceremony outside City Hall. Several of Kelly’s prominent Queen City supporters were also in attendance.
“When I was State Senate president, I had an opportunity to work directly with Kelly,” said Mayor Gatsas. “I can say this from personal experience: she’s a tough leader who gets results. That’s exactly what Washington needs, and that’s why I’m backing Kelly for Senate.”
Kelly said: “Mayor Gatsas’ support is a major boost for my campaign, and I’m honored to have him on my team. Winning the Queen City is key to victory, and I look forward to having Mayor Gatsas campaign closely with me."
Kelly’s New Ad – Conservative
It’s the spot everyone’s been talking about: Kelly’s new ad, “Conservative.” Take a look – and share it with a friend!
Bill Binnie launched two new TV ads attacking Kelly this week. That follows his false radio attack from last week, which the Union Leader described as an “unsubstantiated smear-campaign.”
New Hampshire voters know Kelly Ayotte’s record of tough conservative leadership as Attorney General. They will not be fooled by Bill Binnie’s false, desperate attacks.
Liberals in Washington are taking our country in the wrong direction, supporting bailouts and higher taxes while opposing Arizona’s tough new immigration law. On the campaign trail Bill Binnie has sounded a lot like those same Washington liberals, saying he was open to a Value-Added Tax, open to the Wall Street bailout, and saying he is opposed to Arizona’s immigration law.
New Hampshire voters cannot afford a tax and spend liberal like Bill Binnie in the U.S. Senate. Kelly continues to run a campaign focused on the issues, which is why her camp is up with a new TV ad highlighting Bill Binnie’s liberal positions.
