Ayotte For US Senate - Kelly's Campaign Bulletin - August 27, 2010

Kelly's Campaign Bulletin

We’re really in the thick of it now! Primary day is just 18 short days away.

Here at Team Ayotte, we’re working round the clock to win this election for Kelly. There’s really only one word to describe our volunteers: “amazing.”

Kelly needs your help – right now! Please join us for the final push to victory!

Sportsmen for Kelly

Ayotte for Senate this week proudly announced a key coalition group – Sportsmen for Kelly. With over 100 members, this team will be working on a person-to-person basis to highlight Kelly’s strong record of standing up for Second Amendment rights.
The group already has a must-attend event on the books. Tomorrow at 3 PM, there will be a Sportsmen for Kelly rally at State Line Gun Shop in Mason. Mark your calendar!

Contrary to what the false TV attack ads say, Kelly is the only candidate in the Senate race who has actually cleared individuals for using deadly force in self-defense. When key Second Amendment cases reached the U.S. Supreme Court, she joined briefs filed with the Court to stand up for gun owners. And the National Rifle Association praised Kelly for being the only Attorney General in the northeast to oppose reinstatement of the federal ban on semi-automatic firearms.

“Kelly Ayotte won’t budge when it comes to preserving the individual right to keep and bear arms, and she has a record to prove it,” said Representative Beverly Rodeschin, of Newport. “Bill Binnie can buy all the ads he wants, but he can’t buy Kelly’s proven record of fighting for gun owners. Kelly has our vote, and we’ll be working hard to let sportsmen know she’s the strongest Second Amendment candidate in the race.”

Join Rico Petrocelli and Kelly For A Day At The Park

Consider yourself cordially invited to join us this coming Sunday, August 29th at noon for a tailgate and a day at the ball park to support Kelly as she enters the homestretch.

We will be meeting at the 33 Commercial Street Parking Lot in Manchester for hot dogs and hamburgers before the Minor League match-up between the Manchester Fisher Cats and the Portland Sea Dogs at 1:30 PM. Tickets to the tailgate and ball game are $10 or free if you sign up for two 2-hour volunteer blocks.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Stephanie in Kelly’s campaign office by phone at 232-1162, or by e-mail at stephanie@ayotteforsenate.com.

New Radio Ad

Continuing to run an issues-based campaign, Ayotte for Senate this week rolled out its latest radio ad – “Millions.” The spot uses a recording of Bill Binnie stating his opposition to the Arizona immigration law, and details Binnie’s liberal positions on taxes and bailouts. Click here to listen.
