Jim Bender - US Senate 2010
Bender campaign to host informational forum with Minuteman founder
Jim Gilchrist to address border security and illegal immigration
Hollis, NH- The Jim Bender for US Senate Campaign will be hosting a forum entitled,
”No Compromise: Secure our Borders Tight and Solid” Forum and breakfast with special guest speaker Jim Gilchrist, founder of the Minuteman Project on Wednesday, September 1st. The event will be held at Bickford’s Family Restaurant in Nashua. Along with Jim Bender and Jim Gilchrist, Dr. Bruce Reeves CEO of AssureTec Systems in Manchester will also serve as a panelist.
The discussion will focus on the issues surrounding the Arizona immigration law, the failure of the Federal government to act on illegal immigration, proposed solutions and how to secure our borders. Illegal immigration is an important issue for voters and is a crucial part of Jim’s campaign message and the core of the problem is career politicians who haven’t been able to tackle the problem.
"We need a common sense approach to illegal immigration,” said Jim. “The first thing we have to do is secure our borders tight and solid and need to institute an employment verification system with severe penalties for companies that hire illegal immigrants. Amnesty is an unsound policy because everyone should play by the same rules and to pass an immigration reform bill that contains an amnesty provision is wrong. I am thrilled to have Jim Gilchrist with us at this forum to express his opinions and insight on the illegal immigration problem on our southern borders.”
Gilchrist started the Minuteman Project in October 2004 and has successfully been supporting law enforcement in fighting for the First Amendment for years.
“No Comprise: Secure our Borders Tight and Solid” breakfast forum will be held at Bickford’s Family Restaurant at 356 Amherst Street in Nashua starting at 8:30am and is open to the public. To register, please contact Karen Byron at 603-465-9700 or email@example.com.
