Says businessman is best choice to limit size of government and spending

(Manchester)  The Ashooh for Congress campaign gained another endorsement today as Robb Thomson, political veteran and son of the late Gov. Meldrim Thomson, Jr., threw his support behind Rich in his bid for Congress in New Hampshire’s First District.

In endorsing Ashooh, Thomson said, “New Hampshire needs a Congressman who will work to reduce taxes, limit the size of government and promote free-market solutions.  That man is Rich Ashooh.  In my opinion, he is the best candidate to take that much-needed conservative message to Washington.”

Ashooh said, “I am honored to have Robb’s support. His record as a conservative activist on the local, state and presidential level speaks for itself, not to mention the place his family name occupies in New Hampshire political history.   His grassroots support made a real difference when he worked on the campaigns for President George W. Bush, Senator Bob Smith and Governor Steve Merrill.  I look forward to tapping his political expertise for my campaign because I know how much I will benefit from it.”
