A River House Restaurant Concert Not to Miss!
One folk legend + One grand piano + Beautiful setting = One incredible experience not to miss.
Join us this Wednesday night (7pm) for none other than Judy Collins in Prescott Park.
What else can we say? Perhaps just a simple "don't miss it".
Judy's impressive career has spanned more than 40 years and thrilled audiences worldwide with her unique blend of interpretative folksongs and contemporary themes. Noted for her rendition of Joni Mitchell's Both Sides Now (since entered into the Grammy's Hall of Fame) and Grammy Award Song of the Year for her version of Send in the Clowns.
As with all of our River House Restaurant Concerts this show is a mere $8 suggested donation (people calling in about the concert can't believe it...but, yes, it's true).
We'll have a large and excited audience in the park for the show. Avoid parking headaches and take advantage of our sponsor Atlantic Parking Services, and park at the One Harbour Place parking garage located right next to the park ($5 for the entire night!). Click for more details.
Judy Collins will be joined by special guest, Sonya Kitchell, an incredible 21-year-old singer who was recently tapped by jazz legend Herbie Hancock to tour the world with him.
AND, this coming Saturday, you'll find our popular annual WOKQ Country Festival in Prescott Park. Starting at noon, the festival will be feature BOMSHEL, Shana Stack & Fastland, Karen Morgan & Pony Express, The Eric Grant Band and Tom Dixon Band...promising to be the best one yet!
Visit our website, www.prescottpark.org, for more concert information.
See you in the park,
