ROCHESTER, NH – On Tuesday, August 3rd, Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter will participate in the announcement of a Rural Business Enterprise Grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. This grant will fund a feasibility study by the Rochester Economic Development Department on establishing a business incubator. The city hopes to create an incubator capable of supporting up to 30 entrepreneurs in the old Hoffman Building, which has been vacant since 1986. After the announcement, Congresswoman Shea-Porter will go on a walking tour of small businesses in downtown Rochester.
