Cuccinelli's Obamacare lawsuit a ' beachhead ' against Big Government
Cato @ Liberty (blog) - Yesterday could go down as an important anniversary in conservatives' fight against Big Government as a federal judge denied the federal government's motion to dismiss Virginia's lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Obamacare. The judge noted that never before has the Constitution's Commerce Clause and Necessary and Proper Clause been stretched to the point of requiring citizens to engage in commerce (or to buy a product), so it looks like liberty advocates will at least get their day in court as they try and stop this unprecedented government power grab.

The Left will almost certainly go after Judge Hudson for allowing Virginia's challenge to Obamacare to go forward
Hot Air - Federal Judge Henry Hudson denied the federal government's motion to dismiss Virginia's constitutional challenge to Obamacare, and Ed Morrisey blogs that it will almost certainly bring a healthy amount of scorn down on him from the Left. Morrissey notes that Hudson did not rule on the merits of the case - but that won't spare him from the wrath of those who want government to control every aspect of our lives.
