Jim Bender - US Senate 2010
Jim Gilchrist, founder of Minuteman Project endorses Jim Bender
Hollis, NH- Today, Jim Bender, Republican candidate for US Senate received the endorsement of Jim Gilchrist, founder of the Minuteman Project.
At a press conference at the State House in Concord, Jim Gilchrist told reporters,
“America needs real leaders like Jim Bender to take common sense values to Washington, DC. Jim will ensure that Congress actually enforces current immigration laws to protect the jobs of Americans and the dollars of taxpayers. That is why I wholeheartedly endorse Jim Bender to be the newest member from New Hampshire in the United States Senate.”
Jim Bender spoke about how he would tackle illegal immigration, “The first thing we have to do is secure our borders tight and solid and need to institute an employment verification system with severe penalties for companies that hire illegal immigrants. Amnesty is an unsound policy because everyone should play by the same rules and to pass an immigration reform bill that contains an amnesty provision is wrong.”
Jim continued, “I am thrilled to have the endorsement of Jim Gilchrist. He knows we need a common sense approach to illegal immigration and had the courage to take action when he saw the U.S. government was not enforcing immigration laws.”
The “No Compromise” tour will continue with Meet and Greets on Tuesday afternoon at JP Stephens Restaurant in Rindge at 4:00pm and at Riley’s Gun Shop in Hooksett on Wednesday, September 1st at noon.
The Bender for Senate campaign will also be hosting a breakfast forum entitled,”No Compromise: Secure our Borders Tight and Solid” with Jim Gilchrist, founder of the Minuteman Project on Wednesday, September 1st at 8:30am at Bickford’s Family Restaurant in Nashua. Along with Jim Bender and Jim Gilchrist, Dr. Bruce Reeves CEO of AssureTec Systems in Manchester will also serve as a panelist.
