NH Chili Week provides local restaurants with the opportunity to cook at the 2010 WCCC

Manchester, NH –   Thirty New Hampshire restaurants, representing twelve towns, are participating in New Hampshire Chili Week which will kick off on Saturday, September 4th.  New Hampshire Chili Week will give the public a chance to decide which restaurants will have the opportunity to cook in the 2010 World Championship Chili Cookoff (WCCC) in October and earn the prestigious title of “Best Chili in New Hampshire”.

During New Hampshire Chili Week the public will be encouraged to visit as many participating restaurants as possible to sample their chili.  All participating restaurants will offer a cup or bowl of chili for a discounted price.   After tasting each restaurants chili, people will vote online for the restaurant they believe served the best tasting bowl of chili.  A link to the voting website will be placed on the WCCC website,  The 20 restaurants who receive the most votes will have the opportunity to showcase their chili at the 2010 WCCC and have their chili judged by professional chili judges sanctioned by the International Chili Society.  New Hampshire Chili Week will end on Saturday, September 11th.
