Local Residents can visit Wings Your Way in Manchester at 7pm on Sept 22nd and Sept 29th for the chance to compete in the “Wings Your Way Hot Wing Eating Contest’ at the 2010 World’s Championship Chili Cookoff
Manchester, NH – Wings Your Way will host the “Wings Your Way Hot Wing Eating Contest” at this years World’s Championship Chili Cookoff on Friday, October 1st from 3:30-4:30pm. To determine the ten contestants that will compete at the WCCC, Wings Your Way will host two qualifying hot wing eating contests at their new Manchester location, located on the corner of Elm and Bridge Street. The top five finishers from each qualifying round will move on to compete on October 1st for a chance to win a white water rafting trip for two in Maine and be named this years “Hot Wing Eating Champion”.
The qualifying rounds will take place at 7:00pm on Wednesday, Sept. 22nd and Wednesday, Sept. 29th at the Manchester Wings Your Way. “We are very excited to be partnering with the World’s Championship Chili Cookoff for the first-ever Wing Eating Competition at our new Manchester location” stated Tucker Starmer, Marketing Director for Wings Your Way. “The wing eating contest is open to anyone over the age of 21. We have some great prizes available to the winners and look forward to two great nights of competitive eating”.
Contestants will have to eat ten special reserve wings covered in Wings Your Way famously spicy hot sauce. During each qualifying round, the five contestants who finish the hot wings in the fastest time will advance to the WCCC on Friday, October 1st. The first place winner on September 22nd will receive a free pass for two to Owls Nest Resort and Golf and the first place winner on September 29th will receive two tickets to the Back to School concert featuring Mike Posner at the Verizon Wireless Arena on October 7th. The remaining four qualifiers will receive a hat, t-shirt and a free ticket to the WCCC.
