NH Fish & Lobster Festival this Saturday.
Celebrating our local fishing industry
in a delicious and fun-packed event!
There are too many fun things to list here that you'll be able to "catch" at the Fishtival this Saturday, noon-4pm.
A chef cook off with a mystery fish, a giant fish relay in galoshes, fishing boat tours, fillet demonstration, touch tanks, fish printing, fish splitting/salted cod demonstrations, and so much more!
And, of course, you'll find some of the best tasting FRESH and LOCAL seafood you can imagine. Everything from freshly shucked oysters to whole steamed lobster.
The event and all activities are FREE of charge, with the seafood tastings "pay as you eat" at $4/each and $8/whole steamed lobster (!!!).
The event is filled with fun events for kids and adults alike. Enjoy our new "Speaker's Wharf" this year featuring talks by fishermen and industry professional on topics like The Working Life of a NH Fisherman and Inventor, Innovator, Fisherman.
As always, you'll find fishing boats to tour with Captains to explain tactics and experiences, as well as the popular Chef Cook-Off between chefs Susan Tuveson and Alec Maxon.
Don't miss this wonderful event in support of our local fishing industry.
See you there!
