BEDFORD NH — The president of Pointer Fish & Game Club of Bedford has announced his endorsement of Dave Danielson, a candidate for the Republican nomination for State Senate, District 9.

Jack Belanger, long serving president of the Pointer Fish & Game, stated "I’ve known Dave for over 35 years. I know of his support of the Second Amendment and I’ve seen that in action when, as a Town Councilor, he supported our club over an issue with our firing range. Being a gun owner himself he's never wavered in support of one's right to own guns. I support Dave for State Senate and urge sportsmen and gun owners to do the same.”

Danielson thanked Jack for his support. "As Jack notes, we've been friends for a long time. Jack's dedication as an insurance professional, as a US Army Reservist now retired, as an auxillary police officer, as the commander of the Bedford Legion Post and to his family as well as to his hobby and sport has always been complete. Its never half way with Jack; you always know where he stands. I appreciate his comments and support."

The Pointer Fish & Game Club is in Bedford and has served its members for nearly 100 years.

Senate District 9 includes the Towns of Merrimack, Bedford, New Boston, Lyndeborough, Mont Vernon and Greenfield.

Danielson resides in Bedford, is a former Town Councilor, and has also garnered the endorsements of retiring Senator Sheila Roberge, Bedford Representatives Moe Villeneuve, Ken Hawkins, John Cebrowski, and former Merrimack Representative Maureen Mooney.
