Shea-Porter to Host Events Honoring New Hampshire Veterans Who Have Participated in the Veterans History Project for the Library of Congress

WASHINGTON, DC — On Wednesday, September 8th, Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter will host events in her Manchester and Dover Congressional offices honoring New Hampshire veterans who have participated in the Veterans History Project (VHP) for the Library of Congress.

Congresswoman Shea-Porter’s office has conducted more than 50 interviews for the VHP.  The VHP collects and preserves the remembrances of American war veterans and civilian workers who supported them. These collections are archived in the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress for use by researchers and to serve as an inspiration for generations to come.
