GUINTA STATEMENT ABOUT HIS VISIT TO
WALTER REED ARMY MEDICAL CENTER
(Washington – January 11, 2011) Rep. Frank Guinta (NH-01) participated in a tour of Walter Reed Army Medical Center this afternoon. Approximately 20 freshmen House members were taken through the Center’s facilities. They had the opportunity to meet with wounded military personnel. Rep. Guinta talked with PFC Cory Tibbetts, age 20, of North Conway, New Hampshire.
Guinta released the following statement:
“We must never forget our brave servicemen and women who are still being wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq. They answered when America called, and now we need to be there for them. I am going to do everything I can to make sure they get the quality care and attention they so deeply deserve. It is the least a grateful nation can do to show its appreciation to them.”
