Poetry Society of New Hampshire Launches their 2011 Reading Program

The Poetry Society of New Hampshire will host a reading by Tammi Truax on Saturday, January 29th, at one in the afternoon at Borders Books in Concord, NH. Prior to her reading, at 11AM, members of the Society will read their work. All are welcome. The event is free and open to the public. You can join Society members for lunch in the store café, after their reading and before Tammi’s. 

Tammi serves on the BOD of the Seacoast Writers Association, is a columnist for the Portsmouth Herald, and is the producer of Seacoast Journal on WSCA radio. She is also on the BOD of the Portsmouth Poet Laureate Program and a co-founder with our own board member, Kyle Potvin, of the Prickly Pear Poetry Project: Processing the Cancer Experience through Poetry. A full time mom, part time student, and children’s yoga teacher, she has been published in Alternative to Surrender, The 2008 and The 2010 Poets’ Guide to New Hampshire, and The Poets’ Touchstone.

The Poetry Society of New Hampshire is a non profit  membership organization dedicated to the promotion of poetry.
