Statement from NH GOP Chairman Jack Kimball

Kimball Announces Transition Team

Concord, NH    Jack Kimball released the following statement this morning regarding the weekend GOP Annual Meeting and his election to the position of Republican State Chairman:

"I am honored to have been given the privilege of serving our party as Chairman.  I am grateful for the trust placed in me by the committee and I look forward to working closely with Republicans across the state as we continue to grow the size and success of the Republican Party.

I would like to thank Speaker of the House Bill O'Brien and Jennifer Horn for their early support of my efforts.  I am grateful for their guidance, support, and friendship.

I also want to thank Juliana Bergeron for running a principled campaign for chairman and for her decades of dedicated work on behalf of the Republican Party.

The Republican Party of New Hampshire emerged from our meeting on Saturday united behind a common cause: to insure that we do not again fall victim to the failed leadership and radical agenda of the previous Democratic majority.  As Chairman I will work every day to promote the Republican principles of freedom, limited government, limited taxation and personal responsibility and I will be a tireless champion of Republican solutions to the problems we face today.

Finally, I am proud to announce my transition team.  These individuals bring professionalism, integrity and character to the effort and they will help me as we transition to a new administration in the NH GOP.

I will rely on them for advice and guidance in the critical tasks of hiring a professional, experienced staff, developing a strong Finance Committee, and implementing a plan to accomplish the goals I laid out during the campaign: increase the size of the Republican Party in every county in the state,

2. to maintain our majorities in Concord,

3. to return principled Republican leadership to the Governor's office

4. to deliver NH to the Republican nominee in the Presidential election

5. Persevere to protect our First in the Nation primary."
