Statement from Rep. Frank Guinta on tonight's State of the Union address

(Washington – January 25, 2011)    Rep. Frank Guinta (R, NH-01) released the following statement after President Obama’s State of the Union Address:

“The American people have said loud and clear that they want more jobs, less government spending and responsibility returned to the way Washington operates.  President Obama indicated he has heard that message, and I commend him for it.  Now it’s time to turn good intentions into good policy.  I’m ready to start producing the results Granite Staters want:  getting our economy growing again and slamming the brakes on runaway spending.  I’m ready and willing to work with anyone – be they Democrat or Republican – who is ready to fulfill the mission the people sent us here to do.”
