Invite to Conference Call with RNC Chair Candidate Saul Anuzis

By now, we've all heard at least one person make reference to the "potential" of the New Year! But let's not forget that realized potential doesn't just happen. It takes planning and hard work. The political potential of the next 2 years is no different. Apart from the start of the 2012 election cycle, special elections and issues like raising the debt ceiling, we have a more immediate instance of "potential".

The election for the Chair of the RNC is January 15th. Michael Steele is the current Chair. All of us are aware of his record. Few of us are impressed by it. Steele may be all but gone, but will any of the candidates who might replace him be any better? Leaders impact their groups and the RNC Chair is no different. How can we tell? One way is to read what others are saying. One challenger, Reince Priebus is being weighed in the balance and found wanting by some on the jury of your peers.

Another way is to meet with a candidate to form your own opinion. That's a better plan, but how does the average activist get such access? I can't get you in front of all the candidates, but I can connect you with one of them; Saul Anuzis. Saul has been an activist for years, advocating for the low tax, limited government, individual responsibility, constitutionally based governance we are fighting for as well. But don't take my word for it, listen and talk to Saul yourself.

Tuesday night, January 4th, 2011 from 8 to 9 PM Eastern, 7 to 8 PM Central and 5 to 6 PM Pacific, Saul will be on a conference call to introduce himself and answer questions. As a grassroots leader, you are invited to be on the call, make up your own mind about Saul and pass your observations on to your readers and members. They, in turn can let the RNC voting members know how they feel and encourage them to vote for the candidate which best represents their values.

To RSVP for the call, and to be on the list for similar upcoming opportunities, register here for the Grassroots Leadership List. This creates a mailing list so the details on this and future opportunities can easily be sent to you. This is a national call, so space is limited. If you can't make it personally, you are free to register and have someone attend in your place. Finally, we need your help to extend this opportunity to grassroots leaders you know who might be interested. We're looking for bloggers and officers from grassroots organizations - large and small; Tea Party groups, think tanks, issue advocacy groups, 9-12ers and more. Not the members of these groups, but the group's leadership along with your conservative blog community; activists interested in getting readers and members information to make good decisions. To that end, please forward this to grassroots leaders you know.

Thanks for signing up, thanks for telling your peers about the opportunity and we'll see you on the call. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at the address or phone below.
