“I want to be among the first to file to be on the New Hampshire GOP primary ballot,” said Karger. “We will be there at 8:00 am sharp.”
Karger was the first to announce his intention to run, the first to form an exploratory committee, the first to hire staff in NH, the first to run a commercial in NH and the first to file for President with the Federal Election Commission in Washington, DC. Now he will be the first openly gay candidate of a major political party to ever run for President. Karger is currently residing in Manchester, NH having leased a home there for seven months.
“History will be made in New Hampshire tomorrow morning. On behalf of millions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans, I am so proud to take this historic step,” concluded Karger.
