We The People Founder Calls on the House of Representatives to Override the Right to Work Veto

Nashua, NH- We The People founder Jennifer Horn today is calling on the Members of the New Hampshire House of Representatives to vote to override Governor Lynch’s veto of the Right to Work legislation, which may be up for a vote as soon as tomorrow.   The legislation, which Governor Lynch vetoed in May, would prohibit unions from collecting dues from workers who are not members of the union.  New Hampshire would be the 23rd state to enact the law if the over ride passes.  Horn released the following statement urging support for the override:

“It is time for the House of Representatives to vote to override Governor Lynch’s veto.  The House needs to finish what it started this past spring and pass Right to Work.  We need to send a message that New Hampshire is business friendly and passing Right to Work does that.  We can no longer let unions determine the economic forecast for our state.  It’s time to send a loud and clear message that New Hampshire is open for business.

“Right to Work is a simple law that protects the rights of individuals to choose for themselves whether to join a union or where to spend their money.  That is the New Hampshire way.”
