I would like to thank you for standing up for New Hampshire’s workers today.
I am disappointed to report that we were NOT successful in overriding the Governor’s veto of Right-to-Work legislation in the House. However, because of your efforts, we sent a clear message to our elected officials in Concord that workers should have the choice as to whether or not to join a union.
As you know, concerned citizens and grassroots leaders across the state worked tirelessly to educate our elected officials on the benefits of Right-to-Work for New Hampshire workers. AFP-NH was proud to be a part of that group. Unfortunately, we fell a little short today. But I urge you to remember this vote as the focus shifts to the next election.
Though the union bosses may have won today’s vote through misinformation campaigns and not-so-subtle intimidation techniques, rest assured that AFP-NH will continue to advocate for issues like Right-to-Work. With your help we will keep fighting for lower taxes, less regulations and limited government - policies that we believe will contribute to economic prosperity.
Thanks again for all of your efforts.
God bless you and God bless America.
