NH Wins Second Place in National Text4baby Enrollment Competition

Award Ceremony and Program Information

Concord, NH – Many partners throughout the State have joined the New

Hampshire Text4baby Coalition, led by the New Hampshire Department of

Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health Services since it

became an outreach partner in the Text4baby program in 2010. The goal of

Text4baby is to help more pregnant women and new moms increase their

knowledge about caring for their health and giving their babies the best

possible start in life. The text messages provide accurate and timely

health information coordinated with the baby’s due date or birthday. Of all

fifty states, New Hampshire came in second, enrolling the second highest

percentage of women during the contest period.
