(NEW YORK) (December 28, 2011) Independent Republican Presidential Candidate Andy Martin joins crusading South Florida radio talk show host Dick Farrel by phone Wednesday morning to discuss Ron Paul’s links to the neo-Nazi organization “Stormfront.” You can listen live on the Internet at 10:35 A.M. at www.wdja.com.
“Ron Paul says he ‘can’t remember’ anything about his racist and anti-Semitic newsletters,” Martin charges. “Well what about his current links in 2011 to the neo-Nazi operation ‘Stormfront?’” Andy demands. “Professed White Supremacist Don Black chose as the name for his organization a direct link to one of the most notorious anti-Semitic aspects of the Third Reich (link below): Der Stürmer (‘The Stormer’). ‘Stormfront’ is a neo-Nazi operation which is modeled on its predecessor in the Third Reich.”
Ron Paul has accepted campaign contributions from Don Black, and refused to return them.
“Today Ron Paul is ‘riding high’ in the polls with 20-25 support. The Nazi party came to power with much less than 20% of the vote. Paul talks about overthrowing the government in Washington and effectively abolishing our ability to defend the United States. His supporter Don Black has already tried to overthrow one government. Are we next? Could Black's plan be to use Ron Paul as a ‘useful idiot’ in the political process as Black schemes to overthrow our government?
“Is Ron Paul trying to ‘convert’ Don Black to support our American form of government? Is Paul a pawn in Black’s plans to overthrow our way of life?
“Who took the Nazis seriously before they seized power?
“Der Stürmer was published by Julius Streicher, one of the most notorious anti-Semites of the Third Reich. Streicher eventually advocated for the ‘Final Solution’ of the Jewish people, the Holocaust.
“The idea that there are Republicans who are seriously considering voting for an admirer of the Third Reich—Paul has been quoted as saying he sees no basis for the destruction of Nazi Germany (link below)—is sickening.
“I was the first Republican Presidential candidate to attack Ron Paul, in radio and TV ads in New Hampshire. Our undercover operation has Paul’s neo-Nazi supporters under surveillance.
“The New York Times is finally catching up (link below). Now other Republican presidential candidates are following my lead in attacking Paul for his anti-American and un-American activities (link below).
“One year ago today, December 28th, 2010 I announced my candidacy in Concord, New Hampshire on the Bulldog Live show on WTPL-FM. I said then I would ‘drive the agenda’ of the 2012 campaign and I am still driving. In the days ahead I plan new attacks on Mr. Paul, and I plan to ask Paul in person why he believes we should not have destroyed Nazi Germany.
“Ron Paul disgraces and degrades the service of every World War II veteran. The Nazis’ murder of tens of millions of civilians does not seem to bother him. How can anyone who calls himself a Republican even consider voting for an admirer of Nazi Germany and a supporter of neo-Nazi operations in 2012? How?
“Paul has been playing word games and claiming he is trying to ‘convert’ neo-Nazis to, what? Until I started running anti-Paul attacks in New Hampshire the other presidential candidates were treating Paul with kid gloves.
"Mitt Romney is still afraid to tackle Paul and to rule Paul out as a candidate. If Romney is afraid to expose Ron Paul, and afraid to stand up for American values, and afraid to condemn Paul’s neo-Nazi ties, how is Romney going to have the cohones to stand up to China, Iran and North Korea?
“So, yes, Ron Paul should be an anathema to every Republican and every genuine conservative. But what about Romney? Where are his guts? Is Romney willing to tolerate--or dare I say ‘appease’-- neo-Nazis in the Republican Party? What kind of a ‘leader’ is Romney?
“Mitt, I’m waiting for your answer,” Andy states. “The Republican presidential candidates have been treating Paul with collegiality. It’s time for that collegial attitude to end. For a party that claims to be based on ‘morality,’ its time for candidates to take a stand and stake out a moral position: will they condemn Ron Paul’s flirtatiousness with neo-Nazis and extremist organizations patterned after their predecessors in the Third Reich?”
P.S. The liberal news media have been promoting Ron Paul as a “Republican presidential candidate” and trying to sweep Paul’s neo-Nazi sympathies under the carpet, all while Paul undermines the Republican Party’s chances to defeat Barack Obama in 2012. “Wake up, Republicans,” Andy demands. “before it’s too late.”
P.P.S. Andy is scheduled to produce new anti-Ron Paul radio ads for the closing days of the campaign. Media are invited to observe the production on January 3rd in Concord.
