AFPNH - Dinner Honoring Ovid Lamantine as "Conservative of the Year."

SB 2 Hearing Postponed due to Snow

The hearing on SB 2, legislation which would cap spending on annual budgets in cities and towns, has been postponed until the week of February 21st due to the recent snow storm.

SB 2 will rein-in government spending and get the great state of New Hampshire back on the path to economic freedom and prosperity. AFP will alert you to the new time and location of the hearing once that information is available. We hope you will still attend -this is a great opportunity for you to hold government accountable and make your voice heard!

Repealing the Regional Greenhouse Initiative

On Thursday, February 10th at 10 AM, HB 519, the repeal of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), will have its first public hearing.

This legislation, if passed will remove New Hampshire from participation in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (A regional Cap and Trade Program). Mounting evidence demonstrates that RGGI is a massive failure that is serving only to damage New Hampshire's economic competitiveness, withdrawal can't come soon enough!  New Hampshire residents have already spent $28.2 million in the last two years on this hidden government tax.

Join AFP-NH this Thursday at 10 AM to express your strong support for removing NH from this regional Cap and Tax program.  The hearing will be held in Representative Hall.
