First, I want to thank everyone again for attending the historic third annual Taxpayer Tea Party Rally Friday in Concord to hear from potential presidential candidates Tim Pawlenty, Rick Santorum, Herman Cain, and Buddy Roemer as well as Ovide Lamontagne, John Stephen, and Speaker of the House Bill O’Brien.
Due to the large crowd in attendance as well as the all-star line-up of speakers, our event garnered a significant amount of media attention both locally and across the country. Below are a few highlights in case you missed them:
The Morning Line, PBS
“On the Record” with Greta Van Susteren, FOX News
Political Ticker, CNN
2012 Presidential Hopefuls Go All Tea Party for Tax Time, Politico
Secondly, please plan to attend AFPF-NH’s Presidential Summit on Spending and Job Creation on April 29. This is your chance to be present as FIVE potential presidential candidates debate the economic issues facing our country.
I hope you will join me for this first in the nation event that will include former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum, and businessman Herman Cain.
Immediately prior to the Presidential Summit on Spending and Job Creation, we will honor Ovide Lamontagne as our “Conservative of the Year.”
If you have not already done so, please visit our website right away to purchase one of the few remaining tickets (less than 20) to this event.
Finally, the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee on Thursday is holding a hearing on HB 519, which would remove New Hampshire from RGGI, the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative.
We need you to contact each Committee Member and URGE them to pass HB 519 AS IS. For your convenience, their contact information is listed below.
Thanks to your help and support, we are VERY CLOSE to pulling the plug on RGGI and removing New Hampshire from this failed cap-and-trade scheme that has brought nothing to our state but HIGHER electricity rates.
Please reach out to these Committee Members and voice your support for HB 519 today!

This is an exciting time to be in the Granite State. As host of the first-in-the-nation primary we have both an exciting opportunity and a humbling obligation to ourselves and to the nation to diligently look at and hear from all potential presidential candidates. AFP-NH is pleased to be able to provide you with the chance to do just that through events like the Taxpayer Tea Party Rally and the Presidential Summit on Spending and Job Creation.
Thank you for taking this responsibility so seriously and for all that you do in support of our efforts.

P.S. The Tea Party event in Concord last Friday was a huge success but also very costly. Please donate today to help defray they cost of this successful event.
