HAVERHILL, NH – On Tuesday, April 19, 2011, starting at 11 a.m., Congressman Charles F. Bass (NH-02) will tour the Grafton County Complex, visit two businesses in Lebanon, and keynote the Grafton County Economic Development Council Dinner. Over the next two weeks, Bass will be meeting with New Hampshire businesses and constituents to talk about ways to improve the economy and create confidence among job creators in the Granite State and across the nation.
Tuesday, April 19th, Bass will be participating in the following events in Grafton County (members of the media are invited to attend the following events):
11 a.m.: Visit the Grafton County Complex with Executive Councilor Ray Burton and meet with County Commissioners. The Grafton County Complex is located at 3855 Dartmouth College Highway in Haverhill.
2 p.m.: Visit with McDonald’s employees during their “National Hiring Day” at the McDonald’s located at 12 NH Route 10 in West Lebanon.
2:30 p.m.: Tour Mascoma Corporation and learn more about their research and development of cellulosic biomass as an alternative to fossil fuels. The company’s corporate headquarters are located at 67 Etna Road, Suite 300, in Lebanon.
5:30 p.m.: Keynote the Grafton County Economic Development Council Dinner and give an update on his work in Washington and New Hampshire. The dinner will take place at the Fireside Inn, located at 25 Airport Road in Lebanon. The dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. and Bass is expected to speak at approximately 6 p.m.
