April 29 – Gary Johnson at Republican Liberty Caucus’ Presidential Series at State Library in Concord.
AFP NH Foundation’s fifth and final slot at our Presidential Summit on Spending and Job Creation on April 29 has been filled by Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann! I am sure many of you have been impressed with the impact Congresswoman Bachmann has made on the national stage with regard to economic issues and will share my enthusiasm over the insight and perspective her participation will bring to this Summit.
Congresswoman Bachmann will join former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum and businessman Herman Cain in the Presidential Summit portion of the event. Immediately prior to the Presidential Summit, we will host a dinner honoring Ovide Lamontagne as “Conservative of the Year.”
I cannot stress enough the limited number of tickets that remain available. I strongly urge you to visit our website right away if you want to attend this first-in-the-nation event!
Secondly,I hope you will join us at the Statehouse in Concord at Noon next Friday, April 15 for our annual Taxpayer Tea Party Rally sponsored by Americans for Prosperity. This year’s rally will provide you with the opportunity to hear from FOUR confirmed and potential Presidential candidates – more than any other Taxpayer Tea Party Rally in the country!
The fact that Governor Tim Pawlenty, Senator Rick Santorum, businessman Herman Cain, and Governor Buddy Roemer have agreed to speak at our rally is a testament to the important and vital role that New Hampshire will once again play in the up-coming Presidential election. Additionally, the crowd will hear from potential 2012 gubernatorial candidates, Ovide Lamontagne and John Stephen. The potential gubernatorial candidates will kick the event off at 11:30 AM so I encourage you to arrive no later than 11AM to ensure that you do not miss hearing from any of these exceptional speakers!
Lastly, you may have heard our new radio spot that began airing Wednesday on WGIR, WEMJ, WTPL, and WASR voicing our support for the repeal of RGGI, the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, which currently stands before the State Senate. Thanks to your support the RGGI repeal bill passed the House last month with a veto-proof majority. This spot is part of Americans for Prosperity’s on-going effort to ensure that your voice is heard by our state legislators on this failed cap-and-trade tax scheme – it is time to pull the plug on RGGI! To help fund more radio ads on this issue, please donate here.

For your convenience, to the left you will see the Granite State Gathering events that were inadvertently left off of Monday’s email. I hope you will look over the list and attend any that you can.
Thank you for your continuing support. I hope to see you at one of our events later this month!
