The NH legislature must present a balanced budget by June 30 for the next two years. In this time of economic crisis, how can religious leaders and people of faith engage people in the pews, the public and policymakers to ensure our budget protects the most vulnerable?

 

Prepare to Act: 

Attend a Workshop 

in Manchester or Wolfeboro!

  • Learn the budget process and potential human damage of significant cuts
  • Ground Budgets as Moral Documents in the biblical and theological lenses of faith   
  • Join with other clergy and lay religious leaders in teaching, preaching & advocating for the state's poor and vulnerable 
  • Inspire civil dialogue
