US Rep Bass to Speak at NH Public Utilities Commission's 100th Anniversary Celebration

CONCORD, NH – On Monday, May 16, 2011, at 4:00 p.m., Congressman Charles F. Bass (NH-02) will join Commissioner Thomas Getz and other state officials for the centennial anniversary of the establishment of the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission.  Bass is expected to give remarks at approximately 4:10 p.m.  The NH PUC is located at 21 South Fruit Street in Concord.

Bass’ grandfather, Governor Robert Perkins Bass, established the Public Utilities Commission in 1911, which instituted a new system for the establishment and regulation of public utilities in the state.
