US Rep. Frank Guinta to present medals to WWII veteran and honor NH student art competitors on Monday 5/16

U.S. Representative Frank Guinta will hold two events on Monday, May 16th that are of special interest to feature reporters and photographers.

First, he will present replacement medals to New Hampshire WWII veteran Arthur Audet.  With the ranks of WWII veterans dwindling, this ceremony is a living link to that remarkable era.  Medals include: Good Conduct, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one bronze service star, and Honorable Service Lapel Button WWII.

Later that day, Congressman Guinta will honor NH students who participated in the Student Art Competition at a special art showcase.  Twenty-two students submitted 23 the works of art.  Winning selections from around the country will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol in Washington for a year.  Congressman Guinta will present a certificate to each participant.
