CONCORD, NH – On Thursday, May 19, 2011, starting at 10:30 a.m., Congressman Charles F. Bass (NH-02) will hold a town hall meeting with approximately 130 employees at the New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation, visit a New Hampshire technology company in Concord, and meet with the Tilton Board of Selectmen.
This week across the Second District, Bass will be meeting with local officials, business owners, seniors, and constituents to talk about ways to improve the economy and create confidence among job creators in the Granite State and across the nation.
Tomorrow, Thursday, May 19th, Bass will be participating in the following events (members of the media are invited to attend the following events):
10:30 a.m.: Hold a Town Hall Meeting with Employees of the New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHHEAF) and answer their questions about education funding and other issues. The NHHEAF Network provides college access programs for New Hampshire students, families, and schools. NHHEAF is located at 4 Barrell Court in Concord.
3:00 p.m.: Visit Aerial Surveillance, Security & Intelligence Systems Technologies U.S. (ASSIST-U.S.) and learn more about their intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance services and products for private industries as well as the government. ASSIST-U.S. is located at 87 Airport Road, Suite 5 in Concord.
4:30 p.m.: Attend the Tilton Board of Selectmen Meeting, answer questions, and meet with local officials about issues important to the community. The Selectmen’s Meeting will take place at the Tilton Town Office, located at 257 Main Street.
