MRC Meeting Monday May 23rd - Cornerstone & City Elections

Please join us Monday May 23rd at 6pm for the Manchester Republican Committee May meeting and candidate recruitment info session. If you or a friend or family member have given thought to running for city elections this year, we'd like to have you present!

Joining us will be Kevin Smith, Executive Director of Cornerstone Action.

Cornerstone is a non-partisan conservative issue advocacy organization.  In 2010, Cornerstone and it's national partners spent over $1million dollars in helping to elect conservative candidates statewide, earning Cornerstone national attention as one of the most effective political groups in the state.  Kevin was also named one of NH's 10 most influential people by Business NH Magazine in 2011.  He is a veteran of NH politics having served on the staff's of former US Senator Bob Smith, and former Governor Craig Benson.  He also served as a State Representative from Londonderry from 1996-98.

Running for City Office

Manchester holds it’s City Elections every odd numbered year. There are many positions for which to run, depending on your particular interest and availability.

With 12 voting wards in the City and 5 positions within each ward, we’re looking for a few (well, more than a few) good republicans who care about their city and want to make a difference in the community by running for office.

Currently there is only 1 Republican on the Board of Alderman and 2 Republicans on the School Board. Are you willing to help us bring a Republican voice to City politics?

We need individuals for the following positions:

Alderman (Ward and At-Large)
School Board (Ward and At-Large)
