US Rep Bass Participating in Insurance Brokers Roundtable, Visiting Pelham Senior Center, Making Stops in Windham

BEDFORD, NH – On Friday, May 20, 2011, starting at 8:00 a.m., Congressman Charles F. Bass (NH-02) will participate in a roundtable with insurance brokers, meet with seniors at the Pelham Senior Center, tour the new Windham High School, visit the Rail Trail project site in Windham, tour Windham Terrace Assisted Living, and participate in a roundtable discussion with small business owners.

This week across the Second District, Bass will be meeting with local officials, business owners, seniors, and constituents to talk about ways to improve the economy and create confidence among job creators in the Granite State and across the nation. 

Tomorrow, Friday, May 20th, Bass will be participating in the following events (members of the media are invited to attend):

8:00 a.m.: Participate in a roundtable discussion with insurance brokers in New Hampshire about the issues affecting them.  The roundtable will be held at NY Life Insurance, located at 169 South River Road in Bedford.

11:45 a.m.: Meet with seniors at the Pelham Senior Center and answer questions about his work in Washington and New Hampshire.  The Pelham Senior Center is located at 8 Nashua Road in Pelham.

1:00 p.m.: Tour the new Windham High School with SAU #28 Superintendent Dr. Frank Bass and Principal Tom Murphy.  The Windham High School is located at 64 London Bridge Road.

2:00 p.m.: Visit the site of the Rail Trail project in Windham with local officials and Windham Rail Trail Alliance members.  The Windham Trail is a component of the “Salem to Concord Bike-Ped” path.  The group will meet at Windham Junction, located at 128 North Lowell Road. 

3:00 p.m.: Tour the Windham Terrace Assisted Living and meet with staff and residents.  Windham Terrace Assisted Living is located at 3 Church Road (across from the Administration Building).

4:00 p.m.: Participate in a roundtable discussion with 15 Windham small business owners and the Community Development Director about the issues affecting job creation.  The roundtable will take place at the Windham Community Development Department, located at 3 North Lowell Road.
