US Rep Bass to Serve as Grand Marshal of Concord Memorial Day Parade, Speak at NH Veterans Cemetery, NH Veterans Home

Monday, May 30, 2011, starting at 8:30 a.m.

CONCORD, NH – On Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2011, starting at 8:30 a.m., Congressman Charles F. Bass (NH-02) will honor New Hampshire’s fallen heroes by serving as the Grand Marshal of the Concord Memorial Day Parade and later speaking at the Memorial Day Ceremony at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.

On Tuesday, May 31, Bass will speak at the New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton at their Memorial Day Ceremony.

On Monday, May 30th, Bass will be participating in the following events:

8:30 a.m.: Serve as Grand Marshal of the Concord Memorial Day Parade.  The parade starts at Storrs Street and winds through Main Street to the North Cemetery, where a wreath will be laid, and then ends at the State House for final speeches.

11:00 a.m.: Speak at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery Memorial Day Ceremony.  The Veterans Cemetery is located at 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Route 3, in Boscawen.

On Tuesday, May 31st, Bass will be participating in the following events:

11:00 a.m.: Speak at the New Hampshire Veterans Home Memorial Day Ceremony.  The New Hampshire Veterans Home is located at 139 Winter Street in Tilton.
