NEW LONDON, NH – On Friday, June 10, 2011, starting at 7:30 a.m., Congressman Charles F. Bass (NH-02) will continue his green jobs tour by speaking to the New London Rotary Club, addressing the Granite State Airport Management Association, and visiting Precision Lumber, Inc. in Wentworth.
This week across the Second District, Bass has been meeting with local officials, nonprofit organizations, business owners, and constituents to discuss how innovations in alternative energy technologies can create jobs and grow the economy.
On Friday, June 10th, Bass will be participating in the following events (members of the media are invited to attend):
7:30 a.m.: Speak to the New London Rotary Club and answer questions. The meeting will take place at the Kearsarge Community Presbyterian Church, located at 170 Old Route 11 in New London.
11 a.m.: Speak to the Granite State Airport Management Association about federal aviation issues. The meeting will take place at the Laconia Municipal Airport, located at 65 Aviation Drive in Gilford.
2:30 p.m.: Visit Precision Lumber, Inc. in Wentworth. State Senator Jeanie Forrester (R-Meredith) will join Bass on the tour. Precision Lumber, Inc. is a sawmill company located at 576 Buffalo Road in Wentworth.
