Washington, D.C. - On Thursday, June 16th, U.S. Representative Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI) will address the 2011 Republican Leadership Conference (RLC) and Reagan Centennial Celebration. The conference will begin on Thursday evening and will conclude on Saturday, June 18th. Most RLC events will be held at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, located at 2 Poydras Street, New Orleans, LA 70130. Additional events, VIP receptions, and other hospitality functions may be scheduled at venues around the hotel in the adjacent French Quarter and Warehouse District. In addition to Rep. McCotter, other speakers scheduled to address the RLC include Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Jon Huntsman, Herman Cain, Rick Perry, and Jim DeMint, among others.
Following the RLC event, on Saturday, June 18th, Rep. McCotter will address the RightOnline Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota. RightOnline, a project of Americans for Prosperity Foundation, is dedicated to advancing liberty and prosperity for all Americans through greater citizen participation online. The conference brings together influential new media experts, representatives of conservative organizations, and citizen activists to provide important leadership and grassroots training to impact public policy more effectively in favor of limited government and free enterprise. Rep. McCotter will be joined speakers Governor Tim Pawlenty, Michelle Malkin, Andrew Breitbart, and Herman Cain.
