WASHINGTON, DC -- The Conservative Action Fund PAC announced a new anti-Obamacare initiative, For Repeal (www.ForRepeal.com). It is the first and only website built and powered by activists and will give ordinary folks around the country the opportunity to get involved in efforts to repeal Obamacare.
"We're building a grassroots army dedicated to tearing down Obamacare piece by piece," said Conservative Action Fund treasurer Shaun McCutcheon. "This is another way that we are empowering activists to take real conservative action around the country."
Conservatives have already seen success in dismantling Obamacare. The 1099 provision that hurt small businesses was recently repealed, and there has been an increasingly bipartisan call to eliminate the Independent Payment Advisory Board, a panel that gives government far too much power to make decisions in Americans' health care. “Instead of collecting emails and signing petitions, activists can contribute to the continued take down of these terrible provisions of Obamacare by joining For Repeal,” McCutcheon added.
In addition to providing the latest news and information regarding repeal efforts, For Repeal features a state-of-the-art online Action Center dedicated to repealing Obamacare -- the only such Action Center on the web. Online activists can take action by contacting elected officials, signing pledges, and recruiting friends while simultaneously connecting with like-minded folks around the country.
“Recognizing the difficulty that exists in attempting to repeal Obamacare in its entirety, For Repeal will focus on repealing certain elements of the law at a time. Currently, For Repeal is featuring initiatives on ending the HIT on Small Businesses, thanking members of Congress for repealing the 1099 provision, and ensuring that waivers are available for either none or all. I encourage anyone concerned about Obamacare to join For Repeal today,” concluded McCutcheon.
For Repeal is the only activism center dedicated to repealing Obamacare. Activists can sign up, interact with allies across the country and take action to repeal the law in their communities. To find out more or join For Repeal, visit the official website at www.ForRepeal.com.
