Rye Republicans celebrate summer
On Sunday, July 10, the Rye Republican Town Committee will host a spectacular Family Fun Fair at the Hampton Airfield, 9A Lafayette Rd., North Hampton. The event will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., rain or shine, under the tent.
All are welcome to attend this event, which is sure to be a huge hit for kids of all ages. Attractions for the younger set include the bounce-house, face painting, balloon characters, games, and special treats.
For the slightly "older" kids in the crowd, our speakers will address current political issues related to local, state, and national events. The combination of speakers, entertainers, and plain, old-fashioned political good cheer and camaraderie will surely please everyone.
Our cooks will be serving up great fare including the customary hot dogs and
hamburgers fresh from the grill. A suggested donation to attend this event is $20 per family and $10 per individual, paid at the "door."
Jeff Chidester, well-known talk-radio host with 96.7 the wave, will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
Numerous Republican clubs and organizations from the surrounding area will be on hand to share the fun, including our State and County organizations.
To date, confirmed guests include: N.H. Speaker of the House, Bill O'Brien; N.H. Representative Brian Murphy of Rye; N.H. Representative Will Smith of New Castle; N.H. Senator Nancy Stiles of Hampton; Executive Counselor Chris Sununu; N.H.-GOP Chairman Jack Kimball, and former U.S. Congressional candidate Ovide Lamontagne.
Also speaking will be U.S. Congressman Thaddeus McCotter (R, Michigan) who has just recently announced that he is a candidate for president of The United States.
Don't miss this opportunity to meet and greet your current legislators, upcoming candidates for future elections, and enjoy some old-time family fun. Come celebrate the summer with us and see for yourself how the "Grand Old Party" is changing the NH political landscape.
