CONCORD—The Oversight Health and Human Services Subcommittee on Child, Youth, and Family is seeking input from the public on issues relating to childcare, foster care, adoption, and juvenile justice.
“The Oversight HHS Committee will hear recommendations for legislation, policy, and accountability. We are looking to hear from recipients and providers about issues impacting costs to the state in addition to licensing or regulations impacting providers. We also hope to hear from former foster and adoptive youth on what could be done to improve the system,” said subcommittee Chair, Rep. Kathleen Cusson-Cail of Manchester.
Sessions open to the public are listed in the House Calendar and include:
Tuesday, August 16, 2011
Foster Care 11:00am
Additional open sessions are scheduled for Tuesday, August 30, In-Home Care; Friday, September 9, Juvenile Justice; and Tuesday, September 27, Prevention Programs. All hearings will be in LOB room 205.
