US Rep Bass to Make Stops in Chichester, Boscawen, Concord

Friday, August 12, 2011, starting at 10:30 a.m.

CHICHESTER, NH – On Friday, August 12, 2011, starting at 10:30 a.m., Congressman Charles F. Bass (NH-02) will continue his month-long jobs tour by visiting Millican Nurseries in Chichester, meeting with Merrimack County Sheriff Scott Hilliard in Boscawen, and touring Nanocomp Technologies in Concord with Mayor Jim Bouley.

Throughout the month of August, Bass will be meeting with business owners and employees, local officials, and constituents about how Congress can make it easier for the private sector to grow and create jobs.  The week of August 8-12th, Bass will meet with local officials across the District and tour a number of high-tech and manufacturing companies.

Members of the media are invited to attend the following events on August 12th:

10:30 a.m.: Visit Millican Nurseries, a wholesale and re-wholesale nursery that specializes in carrying a vast selection of plants and trees for residential and commercial properties as well as colleges and universities.  Millican Nurseries is located at 187 Pleasant Street in Chichester.

1:30 p.m.: Visit the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office and meet with Sheriff Scott Hilliard and employees.  The Sheriff’s Office is located at 333 Daniel Webster Highway, Suite One, in Boscawen.

3 p.m.: Tour Nanocomp Technologies, Inc. with Concord Mayor Jim Bouley.  Nanocomp Technologies creates electro-energy and thermal management devices and advanced structural materials.  The company is located at 162 Pembroke Road in Concord.
