LANCASTER, NH – On Tuesday, August 16, 2011, starting at 8:30 a.m., Congressman Charles F. Bass (NH-02) continues his month-long jobs tour with stops at the McKee Inn affordable housing complex in Lancaster, the Gorham Paper Mill, AutoNorth car dealership in Gorham, and Resource Management, Inc. in Holderness.
Throughout the month of August, Bass will be meeting with business owners and employees, local officials, and constituents about how Congress can make it easier for the private sector to grow and create jobs.
Members of the media are invited to attend the following events on August 16th:
8:30 a.m.: Visit the McKee Inn in Lancaster. Affordable Housing Education and Development, Inc., which operates over 200 units of affordable housing in northern New Hampshire, received $500,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds to preserve 35 units of housing for seniors and disabled residents at the historic McKee Inn. McKee Inn is located at 186 Main Street in Lancaster.
10:30 a.m.: Visit the Gorham Paper Mill with New Hampshire Division of Economic Development North Country Business Resource Specialist Beno Lamontagne. The Gorham Mill is located at 72 Cascade Flats in Gorham.
11:30 a.m.: Visit AutoNorth car dealership. AutoNorth is located on Main Street (Route 16) in Gorham.
4:00 p.m.: Visit Resource Management Inc., which provides recycling services through innovative programs which benefit organic waste generators, end users, and the environment. Resource Management, Inc., is located at 1171 NH Route 175 in Holderness.
