Jonathan Edwards, closing week of Wizard of Oz at Prescott Park

Closing week of Wizard of Oz

The rain will be gone and tomorrow will be filled with "Sunshine" as we welcome Jonathan Edwards to the stage as part of our River House Restaurant Concert Series.

Edwards' voice is the kind that you want to hear again and again. His rich, warm tenor has a distinctively unique and natural quality.

He is perhaps most famous for his notable hit songs like Shanty and Sunshine - a deceptively upbeat song that was in fact a protest against the Vietnam War.

Catch him in the park tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7pm).

This week is also our closing week of Wizard of Oz. If you have yet to catch this magical production, put together in partnership with the Seacoast Repertory Theatre, now is your chance.

This show is being applauded as "simply not to be missed" and our "best musical production yet".

Join Dorothy, Toto and their friends the Cowardly Lion, Tin Man and Scarecrow as they are transported Over the Rainbow one last time, this Thursday (7pm), Friday (8pm), Saturday (8pm) and Sunday (7pm).

AND, our last kids event, A Day with Dorothy and Friends, will be held this Saturday and offering a special chance to meet the cast, enjoy a variety of crafts, games (Flying Monkey Toss), activities (instrument petting zoo!), and picnic brunch.

See you in the park!
