August 23, 2011, Santa Fe, NM -- A new web video released by Governor Gary Johnson's presidential campaign asks: "Is your liberty worth the cost of a cup of coffee?" The video, one of several to be released over the next several days, is a direct appeal for contributions to the campaign from supporters who want to "buy back their freedom".

Releasing the video, Johnson said, "There was a time in this country when one could buy a cup of coffee for a nickel. Families thrived on a single income. People had leisure time and trusted their government to promote the public interest over special interests. Not anymore.

"The message in this web ad is simple: If you're disaffected with your federal government, contribute a dollar -- ten if you can spare it. If you look at my record, you'll know I'll keep my word, and my promise is smaller government, less taxes, and more freedom."
