Wailin Jennys, Country Fest, Grease and more at Prescott Park

The Wailin' Jennys Wednesday Night!
Royal British Legion Brass Band
WOKQ Country Fest, Movies and more!

What a week! Taj Mahal, Natalie MacMaster, our debut movie, gorgeous sunshine, and record crowds.

And, there's more great sunshine and events ahead!

Did you catch The Wailin' Jennys last year? On top of their heart-stopping harmonies, we had to invite them back after learning they would be taking a hiatus from touring after the summer.

Catch them while you can tomorrow night (Wednesday, 7pm) as part of The River House Restaurant Concert Series.

The Jennys have been captivating audiences with their three extraordinary voices, engaging stage presence and an uplifting repertoire to become one of today's most beloved international folk acts.

Catch them and discover why not only our audience became instant fans last year, but also why they are one of Garrison Keillor's favorite and most frequent music guests on Prairie Home Companion.

And, join us on Thursday afternoon as we present the Royal British Legion Brass Band from our sister city, Portsmouth, ENGLAND! A total of 38 award-winning players (!!!)  will take stage at 3pm for a special treat before we launch into The Wizard of Oz, our special co-production with The Seacoast Repertory Theatre.

We'll also feature our popular, annual WOKQ Country Festival on Saturday afternoon, kicking off at noon with a variety of stellar acts.

And MOVIES!!! Mother Nature was kind, and the rain held off to allow us to show our first movie, Princess Bride, last night....and how cool it was!

There is no better place to enjoy one of your favorite films than under the stars in the park. Click here to see what's coming up every Monday for the rest of the summer.

See you in the park!
