NH House Speaker and House Majority Leader Announce Support for Rep. Tucker for Committeewoman

CONCORD – House Speaker William O’Brien (R-Mont Vernon) and Majority Leader D.J. Bettencourt (R-Salem) today issued the following release announcing their support for Deputy House Speaker Pamela Tucker (R-Greenland) in her run for Republican National Committeewoman.

House Speaker William O’Brien

“As a fellow co-chair of the House Republican Alliance in the last term, I came to admire Pam’s skills as a leader early on. She has been a true leader in her role as Deputy House Speaker and is exceptionally qualified to be New Hampshire’s next Republican National Committeewoman. Pam is a tireless and committed advocate of Republican interests, which has been demonstrated by her record and many accomplishments throughout this legislative session. She helped pass a budget that cut state spending by 18 percent, rolled back taxes and fees, and cut many regulations on our businesses. She also is a strong voice in protecting our first in the nation primary this year and I am confident she will continue to be an avid promoter nationally.”

House Majority Leader D.J. Bettencourt

“As Deputy Majority Leader, Pam has the experience necessary to promote our Republican principles. She has been a uniting influence in the House and is effective in bringing all different outlooks to the table. Pam is well respected by her colleagues and would make an excellent National Committeewoman.”
